Dirt Forms | Edinboro Gallery

Utile | Boston, MA USA

Originally shown at the Miller Institute of Contemporary Art, the exhibition of my senior thesis, " Dirt Forms: Understanding and Implementing an Earthen Construction Collectivism in Pittsburgh," was adapted and displayed in Utile’s storefront gallery in Boston for the Summer of 2019.  As part of the CRIT Scholar program with the AIAS and AIA, a mentor at the firm was assigned to me who helped develop my research and arranged for the exhibition of the work at the office.  Alongside showing the project in the storefront windows, a presentation of the project was given to the firm and a select group of invited guests, helping to spread knowledge on earthen construction to other post-industrial cities.
